Reference Department

The Reference Department is responsible for the provision of reliable and timely information services to the users of the Library. All the material has been moved to a new building, where the former Library of Phaneromenis' Church was situated. The building has been renovated and the Reference Department of Cyprus library is operated. Users can find reference material and material about Cyprus, which are not for loan. A reading room is operated and there is the availability of photocopying.

The staff helps users to:

use the Library and its collections
formulate a research strategy according to their needs
locate and borrow material they need from other libraries.
